Description

Auf einer Lichtung liegt ausgestreckt ein schlafender Kavallier, mit Stab und Hut zur Seite als Schäfer verkleidet und schläft. Er wird von einer links stehenden Dame in höfischer Kleidung (Manteau und Strohhut einer Schäferin) mit einem Ährenhalm geneckt wird. Das Bild ist eine freie Kopie nach Nicolas Lancret "La Taquine" (27 x 32 cm, Öl auf Holz, Haus Doorn, NL)
